I am a gleaner, I collect and pick up garbage on the streets and in abandoned places.

I am always on the lookout for a great find, my eyes on the ground and I can pick up something quite unexpected anytime, and I think it precious. My father used to do that. He would find screws and nails and put them in his pocket and take them home. It’s the same for me. I treasure these “found” objects and use them in my work… I feel as if I am rescuing them.

I bring together different textures, feelings, colors, into one complex world containing and holding the different parts. They come together in my work and create one vision.

Each work of art is unique and multi-layered. Just like ME. These “found” objects resonate with abandoned human histories and live again because they have given me their inspiration. Their energy. They feed me.
